Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought your skin looks tired – even when you feel fine? could be for you.

It’s not your imagination. As we move through our 30s and 40s, skin can lose that firm, hydrated look we used to take for granted. Lines become more . That natural glow fades a little. And even a good night’s sleep doesn’t quite bring it back.

That’s exactly where Profhilo comes in.

What is Profhilo?

I get asked this a lot – what is Profhilo and what does Profhilo do exactly?

– technically a hybrid of a skin booster and hydrator. Unlike , it doesn’t add volume or freeze movement. Instead, Profhilo works by the skin from within. It delivers high concentrations of hyaluronic acid just under the skin’s surface, triggering your body to produce more collagen and elastin.

The result? Firmer, more hydrated, healthier-looking skin – without changing the shape of your face.

Now let’s dive into the top 5 benefits of Profhilo, for clients here in London who are starting to notice the early signs of ageing.

1. Intense Hydration Without Heaviness

If your skin often feels dry, tight or dull – Profhilo can make a noticeable difference fast.

This isn’t just another moisturiser. Profhilo is injected just below the skin and spreads evenly across the area, creating a reservoir of hydration from the inside out. It’s incredibly effective at restoring plumpness, especially in the cheeks, neck and lower face.

It’s ideal for London’s dry office air and long commutes that often leave skin parched by the end of the day.

Many clients describe the skin texture change as almost instant. Profhilo after 1 week often shows better hydration, smoother texture, and even a subtle glow.

2. Natural-Looking Results (No Puffiness or Freezing)

is known for its subtlety.

Unlike fillers, it doesn’t add volume. Unlike wrinkle-relaxing injections, it doesn’t freeze expression. This is a treatment that improves your skin – not your facial muscles. The hyaluronic acid used in is very pure and spreads evenly, stimulating your body’s own ability to rejuvenate itself.

Clients love that it simply makes their skin look fresher – like they’ve had a week off, or finally caught up on sleep.

It’s one of the main reasons Profhilo London treatments have become so popular – particularly among professionals who want to look refreshed, not altered.

3. Profhilo Can Treat the Neck (and Other Difficult Areas)

Some areas are notoriously hard to treat with injectables. The neck is one of them.

But Profhilo is . Because it spreads and rather than fills, it’s ideal for areas like the neck, décolletage, and even hands. Profhilo neck treatments are becoming one of our popular services.

Clients who were previously told “you’ll just have to live with it” now have a safe, proven option to improve crepey skin, fine lines and laxity in areas that were once difficult to treat.

It’s changing what we can do for skin health – especially in areas that show age early.

4. Minimal Downtime, Maximum Convenience

Profhilo injections are quick – usually around 10 minutes.

There are five points on each side of the face, and most clients experience only mild swelling that resolves within 24 hours. You can return to work immediately, and there’s no need for time off.

is straightforward – avoid strenuous activity and alcohol for 24 hours, don’t wear makeup for the rest of the day, and skip saunas or intense heat for a couple of days.

For busy professionals in London, Profhilo treatment offers serious results without disrupting your schedule.

5. Long-Lasting Results That Improve Over Time

Unlike some treatments that fade quickly, Profhilo delivers cumulative improvement.

A full course typically involves two sessions, spaced four weeks apart. Results build over time – Profhilo after 1 week will show hydration, but the real magic happens in the following weeks as collagen and elastin production ramps up.

So, how long does Profhilo last?

Results typically last 6-9 months, with many clients choosing a top-up twice a year to their glow.

For the simplicity and quality of result, many say it’s well worth the .

Is Profhilo Worth It?

Clients often ask me this directly – is Profhilo worth it?

In my experience, for the right person, it absolutely is. If you’re looking for something natural that enhances your skin health, rather than changing your features, Profhilo ticks every box. It’s especially good for those just starting to notice signs of skin ageing and want to take a proactive approach without diving straight into fillers.

It’s one of the few treatments that works well across a wide age range – from clients in their late 20s right through to their 50s.

Profhilo Side Effects

Side are rare – but possible.

Like any injectable, you may experience redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection points, which typically settle in a few hours. Bruising can occur, but it’s usually mild.
