We are always when introducing new treatments. Every technology we offer must align with our philosophy of achieving healthy, natural-looking skin using safe, evidence-based approaches.
This January, we are excited to launch Sciton BBL HEROic (BroadBand Light High Energy Rapid Output) and MOXI – an advanced combo treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, and overall quality in a way that looks effortless and refined.
work together to treat many of the most common skin concerns we see in clinic, including pigmentation, redness, sun damage, uneven texture, and early signs of ageing. By combining these two technologies, we can support brighter-looking, smoother-feeling skin while also promoting long-term skin health.
“What I love about BBL HEROic and MOXI is how naturally it enhances skin. It is not about changing your face. It is about restoring clarity, smoothness, and that well-rested look our patients ask for every day.”
Selma – Clinic Manager
What Are BBL HEROic and MOXI?
BBL HEROic and MOXI are two laser-based treatments from Sciton that target different layers and concerns within the skin. While each treatment is highly successful on its own, their greatest strength lies in how they work together as a carefully balanced duo.
BBL HEROic focuses on treating visible colour irregularities in the skin, like pigmentation and redness. MOXI laser treatment softly resurfaces the skin to improve texture, refine pores, soften fine lines, and collagen production over time.
Together, they offer a holistic approach to skin rejuvenation, addressing what you see on the surface and HRT What We Treat’s happening beneath it.
What Does BBL HEROic Treat?
BroadBand Light laser treatment is especially useful for correcting the appearance of uneven skin tone. It tackles areas with excess pigmentation, sun damage, and redness, making the skin appear clearer, more balanced, and brighter.
We find BroadBand light laser treatment is incredibly for concerns like:
By providing regulated light energy to the skin, BBL laser treatment helps reduce the appearance of these concerns gradually and safely.
One of the most exciting aspects of BBL laser treatment for us is its role in supporting overall skin health over time. Rather than simply offering a temporary improvement, BBL works at a deeper level to encourage healthier-looking skin cells for our clients.
When used as part of a treatment regimen, BBL treatment can help the skin maintain a more youthful, even appearance by cellular renewal and enhancing skin function. This makes it an ideal choice for those who want to see results right away while also reaping long-term advantages.

What Does MOXI Do for Your Skin?
MOXI is a mild laser that aims to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin’s surface. It works by inducing micro-injuries in the skin, which its repair processes, resulting in smoother texture and increased luminosity.
Unlike more aggressive resurfacing treatments, MOXI laser treatment is intentionally designed to be gentle, making it ideal for patients who want noticeable improvement without downtime. It can help refine the of pores, smooth rough texture, and restore a healthy glow to tired-looking skin.
Aside from its immediate resurfacing advantages, MOXI also promotes collagen formation. Collagen is necessary for skin firmness, suppleness, and resilience, and its natural depletion is a major cause of visible ageing.
By stimulating collagen over time, MOXI laser treatment helps improve skin quality, making it an excellent option for patients who are thinking preventatively or addressing early signs of ageing. The result is skin that looks stronger, smoother, and more refined, not artificially changed.
Why Combine BBL and MOXI?
While BBL and MOXI are powerful individually, combining them allows us to treat the skin in a more complete and strategic way. BroadBand light laser treatment focuses on correcting colour-related concerns, while MOXI texture and structural quality. Together, they target the most common factors that affect how healthy and skin appears.
This combination approach allows us to:
By treating multiple concerns within one plan, patients often notice more comprehensive compared to addressing each concern separately. Importantly, develop gradually, ensuring the skin still looks like you – just fresher, clearer, and more radiant.
Who Is BBL and MOXI Suitable For?
BBL and MOXI are suitable for a wide range of patients and skin concerns. This treatment is particularly well-suited to those who are looking to improve overall skin quality rather than on a single issue.
It may be ideal for patients who:
As with all treatments at Light Touch Clinic, your journey starts with a consultation. This allows us to assess your skin properly, your goals, and create a treatment plan that prioritises safety and natural results.
What to Expect From Treatment
BBL laser treatment and MOXI laser treatments will be performed in the clinic by our expert medical team. The treatment itself is well tolerated, with patients often describing the sensation as slight warmth or mild tingling.
The procedure is carefully controlled and personalised to your skin, ensuring comfort while maintaining effectiveness. Treatment times are relatively short, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule.
A big reason why we are launching the treatment is the minimal downtime involved. Following treatment, the skin may appear slightly red or flushed, similar to a mild sunburn, and this typically settles quickly.
Most patients return to normal plans quickly. If you are fitting treatments around work, school runs, or social events, we will guide you on timing and aftercare so you feel confident.
Some patients may notice pigmentation temporarily darken before it fades, which is an expected part of the process. Your expert practitioner will provide clear aftercare advice to support healing and optimise results.
Results will develop progressively as the skin responds to treatment. Many patients may notice improvements in brightness and smoothness within weeks, with continued enhancement as collagen production is stimulated.
For the best results, a course of treatments may be recommended, depending on your skin concerns and goals. This will always be discussed in detail during your consultation.

MOXI is a gentle resurfacing laser that stimulates the skin’s natural regeneration and collagen synthesis, requiring minimal downtime.
BBL and MOXI target different aspects of skin quality, which is why they work with each other so well. BBL addresses colour-related concerns such as pigmentation and redness, while MOXI improves texture, tone and overall skin quality by gently resurfacing the skin.
Used together, they address both visible surface issues and deeper skin health for more balanced, natural-looking results.
BBL and MOXI are suitable for all skin types. Factors such as history, current skincare, and recent sun exposure all play a role, however.
is necessary to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate for your skin and to tailor settings to reduce risks.
The number of treatments varies depending on your skin concerns and goals. Many patients benefit from a course of treatments spaced several weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions.
Your practitioner will recommend a fully bespoke plan during your consultation based on how your skin responds.
Downtime is generally minimal. You may experience mild redness, warmth or slight swelling for a brief period after treatment.
Pigmentation can temporarily darken before fading, which is a normal part of the process. Most patients return to normal activities quickly after the clinic’s aftercare guidance.
Some improvements in brightness and skin clarity may be seen within a few weeks, while texture and collagen-related changes develop more gradually over time.
Results continue to improve as the skin heals and renews, with optimal results often seen after completing a recommended course of treatment.
